Christmas card artwork competition
Last month we invited all under 11s to enter our Christmas card competition to become our official 2020 Christmas card.
Thank you to everyone who entered! We were overwhelmed with the quality of the entries we received and have been so pleased to hear how it has prompted discussions on the importance of home at this time of year. Special thanks to Beaufort Hill Primary School who submitted lots of entries alongside their lessons on homelessness.
Proceeds from digital card sales will help us to continue our vital work supporting people and families in Wales. We have never been more needed.
Artist Nathan Wyburn has made his selection and we are happy to announce the winners…
Isla Powell, Aged 10
The composition on this is great. Isla has really captured the feel of what home is like at Christmas, and I can just imagine a family sat around the table enjoying Christmas Lunch together. It’s brilliant. – Nathan Wyburn
Isla received a personalised signed copy of Nathan’s book (POP tART) plus a visit to Isla’s class for a talk/ Q&A from Nathan.
Harrison Luke, Aged 8
The sentiment behind this picture is just beautiful. 2020 is the year of staying at home and his design really emphasised the importance of home – “The love, warmth, family and memories made behind our own front door”. Well done, Harrison. – Nathan Wyburn
Harrison received a personalised signed copy of Nathan’s book (POP tART).
