Peer Training – remote working
Everyone in Wales should have a decent affordable home: it is the foundation for the health and wellbeing of people and communities.
This volunteering role will be supporting our policy and research staff to design and develop an accredited training package for peer researchers. Peer researchers are people with lived experience of homelessness. They are employed by Shelter Cymru to help us conduct our research. Using peer researchers allows the research process to be better experience for participants. Peer researchers also help shape our research as they are experts by experience. The role will require some experience of teaching/developing courses and lesson plans. You do not necessarily need knowledge of peer research.
