How can I get involved?

If you answer yes to the following questions we would love to hear from you:

  • Have you personally experienced homelessness?
  • Have you approached a service providing homelessness assistance for help?
  • Are you willing to share your experience of homelessness?
  • Do you want to be part of a positive change in homelessness services?
  • Can you help us to educate communities about homelessness and how it can happen to anyone?
  • Do you want to take the opportunity to improve your existing skills and develop new ones?
  • Do you want to share your experience, whether good or wanting, into something positive for other people?

Take Notice participants are the driving force behind the project and shape and design the project itself as it evolves.

How can my organisation get involved?

We want to help to make a real positive difference within housing and homelessness services in Wales, but this can only be achieved if relevant organisations work together. If you are part of an organisation that would like to work with us, then we would love to hear from you.

There are a number of ways in which we plan to work constructively and collaboratively with service providers and community groups, including:

  • Supporting housing providers to better understand the needs of their customers and use the personal experiences of people in housing need to drive up service standards
  • Promoting a person-centred and solution focussed approach in housing and homelessness services
  • Assessing the fairness and consistency of services across Wales
  • Educating the wider community to tackle damaging stereotypes and misperceptions of how people become homeless.
