Run for Team Shelter Cymru

From city centre races to coastal running events, join Team Shelter Cymru in 2024 and fight for home with us every step of the way. Last year, we helped nearly 18,000 people in housing need though our services, including 5,725 dependent children. But we can’t do it without you – home is everything, fight for it.

Winter Warmer Run

The Cardiff 5K, 10K and Half Marathon Winter Warmer Run in Bute Park offers the perfect chance to lace up those shoes, get motivated and focus on training during the winter. Expect lots of fun, smiles and support along the way, as well as a cool medal on the finishing line.

Llanelli Half Marathon

Llanelli Half

Join us to test yourself on one of the first races of the year! The course is perfect for anyone taking part in their first half marathon or 10K. The largely flat route follows the beautiful Millennium Coastal path, overlooking Llanelli beach, through some of best scenery in Carmarthenshire.

Great Welsh Marathon and Half

Great Welsh Marathon

This event, at Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire, offers half and full marathon options with stunning coastal and countryside views. It’s a perfect spring race, which is flat and friendly, offering an ideal opportunity to achieve your personal best. This is a race for everyone, whether it’s your first time, or you’re a seasoned runner.

London Marathon

London Marathon

The London Marathon first took place in 1981 and has become one of the most popular marathons in the world. The route takes in many of London’s best-known landmarks including Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf. Our spaces for 2024 are now full. Gorseinon 10K

Gorseinon 10K

This road route, near the Loughor estuary in Swansea, starts and finishes by Penyrheol Leisure Centre before heading out through Gorseinon High Street to join the newly renovated cycle path.

Swansea Half Marathon

Swansea Half

Join us to celebrate 10 years of the Swansea Half Marathon. The race starts and finishes in the heart of the city, following five miles of incredible coastline. The route is wheelchair-friendly and participants receive a bespoke medal on the finishing line. Get the whole family involved with the Family Fun Run and dedicated entertainment zones.

Helena Tipping Wrexham 10K

Helena Tipping Wrexham 10K

This quick course takes place on the outskirts of Wrexham, towards the rural border with Cheshire. The race is held in memory of Wrexham Athletics Club member Helena Tipping. There will be a drink station at the 5km point, with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finishing line, plus a bespoke medal.

Cardiff Half Marathon

Cardiff Half

The Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the biggest and most exciting road races in the UK. The fast and flat course passes the city’s most famous landmarks, including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium and Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheers on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.

Marathon Eryri

Marathon Eryri

The first Snowdonia Marathon was held in 1982, and 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of this event, which offers an alternative to town and city races. Snowdonia Marathon Eryri has been voted the Best British Marathon twice. The demanding and spectacular route encircles Yr Wyddfa – the highest peak in England and Wales at 1,085m.
