What we do
We help thousands of people each year across Wales who are affected by the housing emergency by offering free, confidential and independent advice. When necessary we constructively challenge on behalf of people to ensure they are properly assisted and to improve practice and learning.
We work with people who use our services as equals. We provide information, advice and support to help people identify the best options to prevent homelessness, to find and keep a home and to help them take control of their own lives.
We exist to defend the right to a safe home and fight the devastating impact the housing emergency has on people and society.
We do this with campaigns, advice and support – and we never give up.

How we help
Online housing advice
Our advice online pages have up-to-date, expert housing advice about most housing problems. It is the quickest way to find the advice you need.
Face-to-face services
Our advice and support services across Wales give people one-to-one, personalised help with all of their housing issues.
Urgent advice helpline
Our free emergency helpline is often the first port of call for people facing a housing crisis in Wales.
Legal support
Our team of solicitors offer expert legal advice, help fight repossession and eviction, and can attend court to defend people who are at risk of losing their home.

We give people a voice
Policy and research
We carry out ground-breaking research into what causes the housing emergency to inform our campaigning work. Visit our policy and research library for our publications and reports.
Campaigning
We campaign to end the housing emergency by challenging the Welsh Government for changes in legislation, policies and practices that will improve the long term housing and homelessness situations faced by thousands of people in Wales.
