Employees enjoy a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 29 days (pro rata for part time members of staff) together with 2.5 Shelter Cymru closure days over the Christmas period and Bank Holidays.
We operate a contributory stakeholder pension scheme into which you will be automatically enrolled from the first day of your employment provided you meet certain criteria.

We recognise that our employees play a key role in providing the services we offer and we therefore take a proactive and engaging approach to enhancing the health and well-being of our staff. Occupational Sickness Pay
We offer occupational sickness pay up to a maximum of 22 weeks full and 22 weeks half pay after five years’ service.
Employee Assistance Programme
We offer an Employee Assistance Programme which is available 24/7 for staff to access confidential advice, support and guidance on a wide range of issues, together with access to structured counselling support.
Eyesight Testing
We provide vouchers for a free eye test with Specsavers to eligible staff whose role involves the use of VDUs on a regular basis.
