If you moved into supported accommodation before 1 December 2022 the type of renting agreement you have after that date will depend on certain circumstances.
If you had an assured shorthold tenancy in supported accommodation before 1 December 2022 your agreement might have become a converted supported standard contract. If this applies to you then your agreement became a converted supported standard contract on 1 December 2022. Please see our advice page for converted supported standard contracts.
If you moved in after 1 June 2022 you probably continued with a supported housing licence or common law tenancy after 1 December 2022.
It can be difficult to work out what type of renting agreement you have in supported accommodation. If you are unsure, or if you are given notice asking you to leave supported accommodation, get help.
